The Booster Activity Director serves as a member of the Pointer Association Board of Directors and acts as liaison for the individual Booster Groups. The PLHSPA oversees Boosters to provide the structure needed to ensure compliance with all government, SDUSD, and CIF rules. In addition, policy and procedures are in place to provide good stewardship of donor funds.
Each booster group operates as a committee of the Pointer Association with its own elected officers. The Pointer Association provides them with an opportunity to solicit tax-deductible donations and raises funds and coordinates volunteer activities on behalf of a specific sport or activities. Your booster group can be set up with its own section on the school web site in minutes. Features include news, schedules, podcasting, rosters and much more.
