This contest is open to students in grades 9 through 12. "Youth And Violent Conflict" is the essay contest topic. First place winners will receive will receive college scholarships of $1,000, and will also compete for national awards of $10,000, $5,000, and $2,500 for first, second, and third place respectively. First place winners will be invited to attend an all-expense awards program in Washington, D.C.
