UCLA Alumni Scholarship Applications Due

Freshman scholarships are $4,000, paid over four years in $1,000 installments. Applicants who qualify are also encouraged to apply for the Dr. Ralph J. Bunche Freshman Alumni Scholarship, which is for freshmen entering from historically underrrepresented backgrounds (African-American/Black, Native American/Alaska Native, Mexican/Mexican-American, Chicano, or Latino) who add to the diversity of teh UCLA community and have demonstrated strong leadership skills.

In addition to merit-based scholarships, recipients with demonstrated financial need are automatically eligible to receive need-based grants up to $5,000 to offset loans and work-study.
