GEAR UP will be presenting information on financial aid, the different types of financial aid options available to students, different types of loans, scholarships, grants etc..and helpful websites that help you start planning and saving for college

This is an OVERVIEW of financial aid options and a chance to start thinking about how to finance a college education whether it is a public, private, 2 yr, 4 yr or vocational/certification program.

Remember GEAR UP stands for Gaining EARLY Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs.

So, it is our mission to give you information EARLY to start thinking about college and careers and how to finance higher education opportunities.

As the time comes, we will offer workshops to help assist actually filling out the financial aid (FAFSA) applications and other workshops on writing personal statements, and college application workshops etc...

REMEMBER to always check Naviance and open any emails from GEAR Up as we do send scholarship opportunities and other GEAR UP events and opportunities.
