Oakley School Surf Challenge

Oakley is holding a Surf contest on April 6th at Seaside Reef in Cardiff

(2:00 - 5:00 PM) where ten schools (invitation only) will be competing. The

Champion receives a $6,000 donation to their school as follows: $2,500 to

the Athletic Department, $2,500 to the Science Department and $1,000 to the

ASB. Please come out and support the kids as they try and win some $$ for

PLHS. We also have some surfers competing in the morning in the Surf shop

competition, they are surfing for South Coast Surf Shop.

Our PLHS Surf Team as you may already know, won the County Championship this

year and will be competing for the State Championship the end of April

(details will follow later). Please congratulate our surfers if you see

them.
