Do you want to attend school from home? Students accepted into the Online Learning program can attend school events and participate in extracurriculars at PLHS but will attend all classes online.

Independent Study Expectations  

  • The program is a 1-year commitment with classes changing each quarter
  • All students will attend meetings online assigned by Learning Coach.
    • 1 x Week High School  
  • If a student does not make adequate progress within 9 weeks, they may be referred back to their former school. 
  • Parent and student must attend a scheduled orientation meeting prior to the student officially enrolling in the program.  

 

How to Request Transfer to Independent Study 
Parent/Guardian must fill out IS Application 

If the application is accepted, Independent Study will notify the parent and/or guardian via email and phone call for registration orientation date, time and place. This will take anywhere between 48-72 hours.
